I remember the first time I cooked a meal from scratch that I was proud of. It was a tomato and veggie sauce made with vegetables that I had just picked from the garden of a restaurant that I was working at in the Everglades of Florida. It was simple and delicious served over pasta and it was a moment that really shifted my love of food and eating.
Since then, I have had the pleasure of preparing food for friends, family, and strangers.
I have made many a meal over a fire alongside some of our countries most beautiful rivers, in a food truck looking at the Tetons in Wyoming, and in a garage in Malibu California for a celebrity wedding. And it’s all been so much fun!
Now that I have planted my roots back in Oregon, it is my hope to bring you food that will nourish your body, and feed your soul.
